October is theatre month at The Lights, with five productions coming to Andover
The season begins on 4 October when Reduced Shakespeare Company bring the complete works of Shakespeare. Save time and money and see all the plays in one evening – sort of.
6 October hosts a 2pm matinee of Treasure Island, suitable for 6 and above.
After Shakespeare, Dickens. Hotbuckle Theatre return to The Lights with David Copperfield on 9 October. Hotbuckle’s last visit brought us Les Miserables.
14 October brings a Halloween taster with Dracula, presented by Blackeyed Theatre. Their previous shows at The Lights have been Teechers and Mother Courage.
A pause for breath and another children’s matinee at 11am on 28 October. Blunderbuss Theatre bring Dottie The Dragon for 3-7 year olds. Well behaved grown-ups are also welcome.
Evening performances are at 7.30, apart from Reduced Shakespeare at 7.45.
